Whatever the langage, love takes many forms.

I love KAS :

for giving me a legitimate reason for buying and hoarding yarn

for allowing  me to meet some wonderful generous people in my area

The knitters from Ajain EHPAD and Café Tricot

;and all the others too numerous to mention

for introducing me to Ronda and her team of volunteers in South Africa.

for putting me in touch with KAS sisters and brothers all over the world

BUT MOST OF ALL……...for giving me the joy of seeing the smiling faces of the children when they receive their blankets, hats, handwarmers and toys.

I love all of you wonderful crafters for the beautiful things you make, so let’s pour all our love into squares and toys for the children in need of our love.

April is here. It's Spring, a time for love. Get those needles and hooks working and show all the love we have for the KAS children.

What a great intro, Valerie!  As Chris says, we can all relate to the 'love' we feel for KAS for so many reasons ... especially the opportunity to show our love for the children through our creations.

Winter is coming for 'our' children, so I will definitely get my hooks and needles working to help create some warmth for them :))) ... xo

For any crocheters out there, the FREE PATTERN this month is the PUFFED HEART SQUARE ... perfect for this month's theme.  You can find it in the KAS Pattern Book or just click the link in the side bar at the right.

A stunning heart Valerie!

A beautiful red heart on a crisp white background is a perfect message of love, Valerie!  Gorgeous ... xo

Thank you Valerie for an into that we can all relate to.

I love KAS for giving me the opportunity to enjoy crocheting, knowing that what I make will help keep a vulnerable child warm. Also for enabling me to have contact with like minded KAS friends around the world.

A blanket made with a soft, marbled pink, blue and lilac chunky yarn........

Unfortunately the colours appear darker in the photo :((

SUPER intro, Valerie. Love, love, LOVE it!  :))

Wow, Valerie and Chris, you have sure got us off to a flying start.

Valerie....that pure white square with that gorgeous red heart fairly pulsing in its centre.....beautiful !!

Chris, I am starting to think you crochet in your sleep.  :)) Loving your yarn and all those sweet hearts.....stunning!!

I love your blanket Chris. I love the shades of mauve and grey .

Well, Chris, I think I'm with Bev on this one.  Do your hands crochet while you sleep?  hahaha

This is an absolutely gorgeous creation.  The colors are perfect, and the dainty white hearts are a perfect addition ;) ... xo

Another beautiful blanket, Christine. You always use such lovely colours.

A beauty. Love, Love your blankets, Christine. Many Thanks.

Val, what a stunning and inspiring intro! xo
