Wit-woo Chris, this one's a corker! Clever lass combining two variegated wools so successfully ❤️
I'm loving the new striped design, Chris, Scrumptious colours!
Totally agree with Patricia. I love, love, LOVE your design in this blanket, Chris!!
The colours fit together so, so well..it's just GORGEOUS!!
You said it, Patricia. The two variegated yarns worked in stripes is really tasty, Chris. Please, sir, more!
Just beautiful, Chris. Love the design and colours.
I'm struggling to think of blue sweet treats so I'm intrigued to see what you come up with, Gloria. Black for liquorice is inspired. (Having said that I've just realised Marion did it last time round!)
Aww, Glo!! You sweetie. :))
Your squares look good enough to eat....especially the pink one...haha xo
Pink and black go so well together :))
Lovely squares, Gloria.
Good on ya, Gloria. You surprised us all, and a gracious bow to Bev, and warm, soft squares for the children. WIN!
Growing up one of my favorite candies was Watermelon Jolly Ranchers. They came in other flavors, but everyone loved the watermelon. They were very hard so you had to keep them in your mouth a loooooonnnnnng time. This blanket was going to have another purpose, but alas, I ran out of the color I needed to finish it. So KAS gets a larger rainbow blanket. The center has a faux popcorn stitch giving it some texture.
This theme is going to be so much fun... We get to learn about Sweet Treats from different parts of the world.

This item will allow Knit-a-Square to pay our wonderful co-team workers – the Gogos (grandmothers) – to sew the squares received from across the globe into blankets for the children. $5 US will pay for 4 blankets to be stitched together.

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
