Oh the inspiration here, Bev!!! Sweets come in all flavors (my favorite is lemon) and colours (mine favorite is ... no, I won't tell ... hahaha) Funny, tho, I'm not a huge blueberry fan.
I think black is a great CoM. Solid black squares will be an elegant addition to a blanket! And black can be dressed up with every other colour of stripes or polka-dots, half'n'halfed with any shade of blue, green, gold, red, mauve, yellow ... even pink :))
I'm imagining a full lineup of beauties from our oh-so-creative crafters this month ... xo
Cheers for the super header blurb, it's full of ideas, has my mouth watering a little and my imagination is having a riot!!
A Fantastic Intro Bev. I think I'm hungry for some sweets now, I wonder why???? HA!
(Who am I kidding, I'm always hungry for sweets!)
LOL ... Patricia, I love it!!! So creative and a real 'treat' ... xo
One of my favourites Patricia :))
What a great interpretation Patricia.
Absolutely LOVE your Swiss roll, Patricia!! This is soooo cool !!
I originally had a Swiss Roll in my intro, but thought my list was looking so long that I deleted a few. So glad it gets a mention with this fun interpretation from you. :))
Looks good enough to eat, Patricia! Love your colours.
A delicious Chocolate Swiss Roll, Patricia. Looks good enough to eat, especially on the strawberry background.
Thank you Bev for sharing your sweet treat memories! I’m afraid that I too enjoyed far too many sweet treats during lockdown, thankfully this theme is calorie free :))
In this blanket I was using up 2 different variagated yarns which reminded me of some favourite fruit sweets as child, and a plain colour that reminded me of all things raspberry (my son’s favourite).....
Chris, your blanket looks scrumptuous :)) I can see all the lovely sweets woven through it. Beautiful ... xo

This item will allow Knit-a-Square to pay our wonderful co-team workers – the Gogos (grandmothers) – to sew the squares received from across the globe into blankets for the children. $5 US will pay for 4 blankets to be stitched together.
