35 SQUARES MAKE A BLANKET
FUNDRAISING IDEA
Recently a booklet of knitting patterns for 8" squares became available for FREE download in our KAS Shop.
I am challenging myself to make one of every pattern by 2022 (17 weeks away!). Many of the 35 designs are new to me and may prove difficult to accomplish, but I will give them all a good go!!
To benefit KAS through my challenge I would appreciate US$ sponsorship per different pattern square, or as nominated US$ pledge for my total effort.
Wish me luck!
(Money to be submitted in January please)

Kudos Wendy..... You've applied yourself brilliantly to trying these knitted squares. I'm planning to try the second half of them when I've finished my 50th blanket - there just aren't enough hours in the day for me at the moment.....
This is gorgeous, Wendy....LOVING the colour!!
No, never enough hours in the day to do all the things you want, especially with Christmas coming up. I Love doing my knitting and crocheting, fills in lots of time for me (as I am home a lot). I also do puzzles and there is always the boring stuff like housework/cooking/washing to do. I don't know how people can say they are bored, I always have things to do!
Wendy, that's exactly what I always think, when people say they are bored....I am home at the moment as our youngest daughter is only a year old...My days are packed with, housework, children, homework, shopping, gardening ect.in the evening I usually knit or crochet or do diamond painting...I always have something to do!But I know quite a few people who are so bored while staying at home, looking after there children...
Very belated congratulations on the birth of your second daughter, Rachel - as if she's a year old already! Time goes too quickly.
Thank you very much Patricia!Yes Lana Grace was born 27.11.2020...This year just went so fast...
Belated congratulations Rachel, what a pretty name for your daughter! You certainly are a busy lady, it is always good to ‘see you’ when you are able to pop into the forum. Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas.
Thank you ever so much Chris!Kind words!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you too!
Square 10 The Bean Square. (I had to skip over a few of the patterns, as I didn't feel able to do them). Going to try the Raspberry square soon though. My Mum knows how to do that pattern and will show me (I wasn't quite sure how to do it from the written instructions). This one was quite fun and easy to do.
It's a pretty stitch - Well Done ❤️
This is a pretty pattern....now where have I put my 'to do' list....haha.
LOVE the colour, Wendy. What brand of yarn is this, please?
