I really love the last blanket all edged in red - simple but very effective idea.
Were all the children asleep when you put the blankets on them? I wonder what their reaction was when they woke up!

Vivienne and Themba went to Boitumelo Daycare Centre on October 18, and came back with these incredible pictures. Well done!
Please remember it is for the POPI laws that protect the children's identities that be blur out their lower faces.

I was lucky to see one of my blankets, too. Just give you that warm fuzzy feeling.

purple, orange and pink are not colours I would have thought to put together (8th photo from the bottom) but they make a gorgeous blanket!
The main blanket in the 3rd photo down is a pattern I want to master (the crochet square without gaps). So far I haven't been very successful, but seeing this beautiful blanket makes me want to try again.
The last few photos of the children playing with the toys - they seem to be really enjoying themselves.

The little girl on the left in the bottom photo is holding my Rhapsody in Blue blanket (I think so anyway from the portion I can see). The yarn has a slight sparkle to it so I hope it brings a bit of sparkle to her world.

The little boy with my blanket seems to have swapped hats from one photo to another! This looks a very well organised nursery.

I was thinking what a good match the orange hat was and then wondered why I hadn't noticed it in the first photo ... because it wasn't there!
