2012 COMBINED TALLY - KNIT-A-SQUILLION SQUARES & ITEM COUNT - we've broken the 230,000 barrier!
Well done everyone! The figures continue to grow year-on-year. They represent hours of caring, kindness and giving by a 'global family' of yarn workers! The January Jewel Challenge is already getting the squares & hats flowing!
Below are the totals (so far) for 2011 - once the square lists for Nov & Dec are published I'll continue to update these figures - which are a combination of Forum totals and the Square List (which only lists Squares, Hats, Vests & Sweaters) plus Ravelry keeps it own list. In fact, more is being sent, but at least the figures below will give a fair idea.

I won't touch the totals yet, but I wanted to share the good news! Since I created a challenge on my blog last week, 35 people have committed to knitting squares! I have received 11 squares and 21 hats will soon be in the mail!
