Well done everyone!  The figures continue to grow year-on-year. They represent hours of caring, kindness and giving by a 'global family' of yarn workers!  The January Jewel Challenge is already getting the squares & hats flowing!

Below are the totals (so far) for 2011 - once the square lists for Nov & Dec are published I'll continue to update these figures - which are a combination of Forum totals and the Square List (which only lists Squares, Hats, Vests & Sweaters) plus Ravelry keeps it own list.  In fact, more is being sent, but at least the figures below will give a fair idea.

Ready to post tomorrow:  52 Squares, 1 Slip Over, 2 Soft Toys, 4 Pencils, 4 Pencil Sharpeners, 4 Erasers and 1 book.

I have also made some adjustments to the totals and items.  I see a pair of booties has been added to the bottom of the list, yet no one recently has sent any, so I have dropped this off again (I rechecked this quite thoroughly in the last couple of pages of posts).  I also moved the Rain Ponchos to bits & bobs. I think there are one or two other mathematical miscalculations on some items, but I won't fiddle in case I am wrong. :-)

Fantastic Wendy!  Wonderful parcel you are sending out and that's great that you were able to "clean" things up a little on the list!  That should make it a bit easier, when adding our goodies :o)

Broken the 88,000 squares barrier! Besides all the other goodies on the list. Good work guys...awesome X

Just packing into two parcels, 90 squares,3 packets of pens, 3 packets of pencils and 3 exercise books. Hopefully will post tomorrow or Monday.

YAY! That is a fantastic contribution Norma....is it all from only you???

Hi Bev,

Yes just little old me. Wish it was much much more for such beautiful kids. Try to do some every day, nice now I'm retired to do something for those in situations we have never had to experience.

That's absolutely wonderful Norma!
