Well done everyone! The figures continue to grow year-on-year. They represent hours of caring, kindness and giving by a 'global family' of yarn workers! The January Jewel Challenge is already getting the squares & hats flowing!
Below are the totals (so far) for 2011 - once the square lists for Nov & Dec are published I'll continue to update these figures - which are a combination of Forum totals and the Square List (which only lists Squares, Hats, Vests & Sweaters) plus Ravelry keeps it own list. In fact, more is being sent, but at least the figures below will give a fair idea.

Wow!!!! that 100 000th square is just around the corner. That is a fantastic amount, Anne.
Hi, didn't get much of a response on my last post (re altering the tallies list) so thought I would go ahead and adjust as I also noticed Tee Shirts and Games had been lost from the list. Also on page 11 the books Helen Flagg sent were not added to the total (as this was where books got lost from the list).
I also removed the snoods and cowls as there had not been anything added there in all the time this list has been going. I also combined pens/pencils, slippers/booties and sweaters/jumpers. I also moved the 1 scarf into the 'bits and bobs' section. Feel free to bop me if you think I am taking liberties! It just bothered me that some items had been lost from the list! Adjusted totals below:

Hi Bev,
Thanks, yes I noticed you had returned the books to the list, but I did note too that Helen's books hadn't been added so fixed the numbers there. Glad books are sorted now too, I have some more that I will send with my next parcel.
Yes, sorry about that Wendy...I was more focussed on reinstating the missing books to the list than checking details of Helen's wonderful list of goodies..
