Well done everyone! The figures continue to grow year-on-year. They represent hours of caring, kindness and giving by a 'global family' of yarn workers! The January Jewel Challenge is already getting the squares & hats flowing!
Below are the totals (so far) for 2011 - once the square lists for Nov & Dec are published I'll continue to update these figures - which are a combination of Forum totals and the Square List (which only lists Squares, Hats, Vests & Sweaters) plus Ravelry keeps it own list. In fact, more is being sent, but at least the figures below will give a fair idea.

hi I sent 70 squares, 14 hats 3 Go overs, 3 dresses, and 6 toys (including 1 very cuddly little lion) with jigsaw and 44 squares, 6 hats, 1 dress, 1 go over today. Could someone please add these to the totals as i havent got a clue. Thanks

Hi Christine thanks for putting my totals in for me. I will let you know when next lot sent! x Got some pics to add aswell. I put hood on go over seemed to work out ok. I love knitting them they are so satisfying to finish and feel so warm. I am sure they keep the children very cosy. I can knit a hat a night but I must get some squares done aswell busy busy but its all so worthwhile x

Sent 35 squares, 1 Vest, 2 plushie Bunny toys, 80 plastic sewing needles (there were supposed to be 100, but my order was short by 20 when it arrived here), 1 skipping rope, 1 crochet hook and 1 ball of yarn for the Curro Aurora schools challenge.
